Martin got baptized

Image
Hi everyone. You guys are awesome. 😁 The Mission is going bacán. One of our good friends, Martin got baptized 2 days ago. I was grateful to be there and see the progress he has made and his will become more aligned with the Lord's. The baptism was awesome and we even convinced 4 of our other friends to come but they got there 15 min early and we had some problems and the baptism didn't start until 40 min after it was supposed to start. And when we invited everyone to the baptismal font for the ordinance the water was so Hot that it took Martin and Felix a while to get in. The message on Baptism that was given by one of the member's was really good and he touched on the topic of infant baptism and that they don't have any sin so in turn don't have necessity to be baptized for the remission of Sins. And one of the catholic Friends we brought with us pulled me aside and said in a stern voice, "after all this I'm going to tell you how we do our baptisms ,OK....

Loving mission life with Elder Ferrin

Kody is really enjoying his companionship with Elder Ferrin and thriving as district leader. He has been able to give a lot of priesthood blessings and stays very busy. It was great to talk to him today and see how happy he is.

I always love it when the mission president and wife post pictures. They even sent a video of all the elders  saying hello to their families (wish I could share that in a book). Love seeing my handsome missionary!

A Spiritual Experience- Mia

Kody was asked by the sister missionaries to give Mia a 14 year old girl that Kody had baptized a few weeks earlier a blessing. She suffers from severe anxiety. Before the blessing they explained the priesthood and blessings, and then Kody asked Mia if she had enough faith for Heavenly Father to heal and comfort her. She said with no hesitation “yes.”  Just then Kody could see the spirit radiating from her almost like she was glowing. Usually when Kody gives a blessing in Spanish he feels nervous, but when he put his hands on her head all fear left him. He proceeded to give her a blessing and when he was done Mia said “right when you put your hands on my head all fear left me, I know I need to be like I was when I was younger and let God prevail in my life.”  It is an experience Kody will never forget.  Kody had exchanges with Elder Smith this week who he says is one of the 3 Nephites. He is a great example to Kody and extraordinary missionary. He went home this wee...

The busy life of District leader

Image
Hola familia y amigos😁espero que todos se encuentren muy bien! Little update real quick, a couple weeks ago I was a junior comp. Now I’m a District Leader and training Elder Ferrin who got to Chile the 21st of July. We've had some baptisms the past couple weeks which is awesome, we have some more planned coming up. I have never been more grateful to be able to help people come unto Christ and receive his Gospel so that all of God's children can participante in the great plan of Redemption. I love you all.  OH and I was attacked by a white chihuahua with a pink sweater and have to get rabies shots now.
