The First Few Days Be Kinda Rough!

Hola. First 3 days of the mission been kinda rough for me haha. A little spoiled boy from Utah that doesn't know much needs a long time before I get used to everything here. ARRIVING TO THE MISSION: I arrived on Saturday around  noon and after days of traveling and only getting maybe 3 hours trying to sleep cramped in an airplane overnight i was lacking much sleep and water. Then I was told they had just started the mission fast and so I fasted 24 hours after that. Haha

We live in a little all wooden house in the very south outskirt country of santiago. The wood makes the heat stay in for some reason so it's super hot so let's  just say I haven't been sleeping with a blanket. We couldn't leave the house Saturday because I didn't have my covid results back.
On Sunday we went to church which is at this dirt lot in Hospital(Hospital is the little town that we go to almost every day). There were about 20 people there ,me and Elder Stoker did all the sacrament and they had me go up and introduce myself. The spanish is way different than what I learned in the MTC so I basically know nothing, I hope they understood me. We also aren't allowed to sing the hymns we only listen. and you have to be vaccinated to be able to go to church, covid here is kinda crazy. The water and milk taste so bad to me so today on p day I bought a lot of juice to drink at this local market. WE BIKE SO MUCH. On Saturday we biked probably almost 20 miles.( and my trainer says we do more than that usually. And for someone who was sitting down six weeks for home Mtc my butt hurts pretty bad now from sitting on the bike all day and it's hard to keep up with my trainer who did cross country in high school. Biking around in Hospital, everyone has so many dogs and there just laying everywhere, and I mean everywhere, constantly barking it's pretty annoying they chase u sometimes but I haven't met one that actually tried to hurt me yet. But it's a beautiful area with lots of cool trees. And the house is pretty nice. I hope I can adjust quick so I can help people, but being in public right now is hard because sometimes people try to talk to me and I just look at my companion. Chilean spanish is really hard and they speak fast and lazy. I'm still waiting on my luggage(note: a bed sheet does not absorb water like a towel does).
But anyway I love you all and hopefully my tales of wo didn't dim your day haha. I know I'll have better things to say next week.

All these pictures were this morning.  just some random ones I didn't get the chance to take any pics of Hospital and all the dogs and drunk people haha
