Temple Day

Kody's Pday was changed to Wednesday so they could attend the Santiago, Chile temple. They got up early to bike, train and take the subway to Northern Santiago. He got to see Elder Easterbrook a member of his MTC district. He was pleasantly surprised that he could understand a lot of the Spanish session. 

He got my packages, with half of his Easter package missing from Customs. But thankful he got some. 

Some kind members brought them some Easter treats. 

It is getting foggy and chilly in the mornings, and he is always fixing his tires. This week it was a giant peace of metal that punctured his tire.

We tried sending Kody his first package. We will see if it gets there. I also ordered him a bike seat, basket and water bottle holder since he bikes so much! The basket can come off and be used for shopping and then hooked on to his bike to carry his groceries home.  Hope it works.

The Temple and Exchanges

 Elder Wastlund and Elder Correa are still going strong as Zone leaders. They have been doing many exchanges recently, and their district also got to attend the temple. They have a zone conference coming up and exchanges with the AP’s. These two have such a great time together. I can’t believe Kody is over halfway through with his mission. He told us today his return date is already set for Dec 5th! He is eating rabbit in the picture at the bottom.
