Winter in Hospital and a bike accident

"Wherefore, redemption cometh in and through the Holy Messiah; for he is full of grace and truth."

Hola muy buenas tardes a todos😁. Espero que todos ustedes estén super bien hoy! My weeks been super good, a lot of freezing cold showers(our water heater froze, expanded, and broke🙃this winter is one of the coldest winters in Chile in 100 years), chicken nuggets, biking in mud, trying to bike in mud, cleaning up mass amount of dog poop, sprinting a couple blocks with heavy bags just to miss the train and wait another hour, pedals falling off of bikes, standing up on my bike to start riding and forgetting that it's in the lowest gear and completely biffing it🤣, and a lot of people coming to church with us🥳🥳.
Because a lot of people don't have cars here, and the chapel(that kinda just looks like a big house with a "visitors welcome" sign posted outside) is very far for a lot of our friends, we were scrambling everywhere trying to get as many of our friends to church, and also members to pick them up for church. The testimonios in the fast and testimony meeting were awesome, and the Sunday class was even better. The Sunday school teacher for our branch is cool, she's an actual teacher so her classes are always well planned and thought out. We learned about the cycle that a lot of the people in the scriptures followed. REBELLION • SUFFERING • REPENTANCE • LIBERATION. The people rebel, suffer because of it, eventually repent and praise God, and God provides a way or a person to free them. Every single one of us has to go through this cycle at one point in our lives but we want to arrive and stay in repentance and liberation. But anyway, one of our friends that came to church, Javiera with her 9 year-old son José, and her 6 month-old baby Emilia. This message touched her and she is going through an insanely difficult time in her life and in her family and things that have been happening with her boyfriend. It was amazing to see all the members going up to introduce themselves, offering to help with her kids, and loving her. At the end of church we were talking with her for a while, and she confided in us about a lot of things, and how she feels her life is a war. She started crying and all I wanted to do was to give her a hug and cry with her. But I did my best to comfort her with my words. I told her how much her Heavenly Father loves her and that he hears her prayers. I invited her to keep praying and pushing forward with faith, and encouraged her that I will pray for her and for her family with all my heart. Her financial situation is not the best so she usually has to work on Sundays but she told us that she would try her best to work enough throughout the week so she can go to church Sunday. My heart was touched by the amount of faith and sacrifice. And we promised that God would bless her for her efforts.

I love you all.  The Holy Messiah lives and has worked out our eternal Salvation. Here's some pictures if you made it this far through Elder Wastlund's ramblings.
