Elder Ferrin and a dog bite

Image
Kody was bit by a chihuahua. He said it was a tiny bite but because of it has to get 5 rabies shots. He loves his greenie Ferrin. He is also from Utah and has 11 members in his family. He knows no Spanish, and Kody remembers the feeling of not knowing what is going on. He said he is awesome though! Kody says being district leader keeps him so busy that he has not even had time to write in his journal. He said it was a good week.

Training and District Leader

Kody had transfers this week and is training for the first time. He was also called as a District Leader. He is a little nervous about it because he has only been out 6 months and the AP’s are in his district. He is excited about the opportunity though to train a greenie.

Zone Conference

Another Zone conference and some sad goodbyes. Also it snowed! It has been one of the coldest winters on record.

The work moves forward

Kody wasn’t able to call this week. The pictures he uploaded showed he was busy with many baptisms. Can’t wait to hear the story.

Someone called us and said, "Hello Elders, we will be there to pick up Elder Wastlund in 20 min." The Zone Leaders hadn't told us that we had transfers and we were a decent bike ride away from the house. And all my stuff was very much unpacked. I took off on the bike and didn't realize until a couple minutes later that I left my companion completely in the dust. We got home and started shoving all my belongings in bags and my suitcases for 15 min before the truck got there.
