Another week with Elder Ferrin

 Kody was a little bummed that they only had 2 friends join them for church, but he is doing great! He told us a story of one of their friends Sergio who was contemplating suicide. They gave him a Book of Mormon and some reading assignments and when they saw him next he said he read them the night before and when he woke up the next day he had no desire to kill himself. He has since been wanting to be at every activity they have. 

They have another friend who they are trying to convince not to murder his wife and her lover…scary!

Also there has been some unrest in Chile as the people have wanted to overturn the constitution. It was voted down and now they are worried about riots and unrest. This caused the missionaries to have to be back in their apartments early one night. So what do they do? Deep fry Oreos, bananas, olives, peanut butter, eggs, you name it. When the oil turned black they decided it may not be very good for their health and stopped.
