Transfers- Baquedano and Elder Hayes

Hola a todos. Espero que todos estén muy bien. I'm currently sitting in Chili's in Chile😎. I was transferred last pday to an area called "baquedano" right next to where i was already serving in "Portales2". Im finishing the training of Elder Hayes, I'm still a district leader in the San Bernardo zone but my district changed. I miss my last greenie🤣elder Ferrin. After 2 transfers together we became really good friends. I can tell I will have to develop mucho amor y paciencia this transfer. And recently it has been hard for me to not be able to talk Spanish a ton with Elder Hayes. He is awesome and works really hard but he doesn't have the knack for spanish like Elder Ferrin. 3 1/2 weeks before the end of the transfer we made a pact with our pinky fingers that we wouldn't speak english until the day that one of us was going to leave. That really helped my spanish. I'm very grateful for the privilege to help, learn from, and teach a new missionary to become more converted to the Savior but to be honest before I was transferred here I wanted a companion that was older than me that could help and push me to become a better disciple. Today we went to la costanera(tallest building in south america). I'm going to send tons of photos (many in a separate email or they won't fit). I love you all.

They’ve been throwing sticks and stones oh,
I need someone to take control of
The way I live, like the way You did
You love me even when I’m broken
You say You’ll never let me go, and
You light my road
And You heal my soul
When they’re throwing their sticks and stones

Lyrics from a new youth song.

The world throws a lot of sticks and stones. Come and abide in the love of our Savior Jesus Christ to overcome the trials and temptations of this world.(john 15:4-11)
