Happy New Year

 Elder Wastlund seemed exhausted when we talked to him today. With Christmas and new years they were up later because the branch president got permission from the mission president for them and to stay up later and celebrate the holiday with them which is very late until  close to midnight. It is also very hot there and being zone leaders adds a lot of drama with other companionships that is always on their minds. 

Kody had exchanges this week with Elder Diaz, who also brought some drama, but Kody and he got along great by the end.

Exciting news Elder Wastlund and Elder Correa are staying together as zone leaders and not being transferred this time around. They have loved tracking with Jonathon, a priest from the branch. They say he is a natural missionary and plans to serve in a few years when he is old enough. They are working with Pablo, the husband of a member.

We tried sending Kody his first package. We will see if it gets there. I also ordered him a bike seat, basket and water bottle holder since he bikes so much! The basket can come off and be used for shopping and then hooked on to his bike to carry his groceries home.  Hope it works.

The Temple and Exchanges

 Elder Wastlund and Elder Correa are still going strong as Zone leaders. They have been doing many exchanges recently, and their district also got to attend the temple. They have a zone conference coming up and exchanges with the AP’s. These two have such a great time together. I can’t believe Kody is over halfway through with his mission. He told us today his return date is already set for Dec 5th! He is eating rabbit in the picture at the bottom.
