“By this shall men know" LOVE
Hello hello! Espero que todos se encuentren rebien!
A week ago we were knocking doors and we found a family of members that haven't been to church for like 20 years and they now have 2 kids that haven't learned anything about the church or God.
We visited them 2 times and many miracles happened so that they could know that they needed to return. Yesterday they went to church and received a very warm welcome. It was a fast and testimony meeting. And a brother from the congregation went up and started to bear his testimony. He said that he wasn't going to come to church that day but he felt an impression that he needed to go. Tears filled his eyes, and mine, as he explained that he was the bishop of that family that had returned and he said, "We hope you're not just visiting, but that you will stay." We are now teaching the kids to help them receive the gospel.
The other day I went on exchanges with the assistants and we helped a lot of people commit to a baptismal date.
The whole mission has been asking this question a lot, "when you know for yourself that the Book of Mormon is true, will you follow the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized by someone who holds the authority of God?"
Some of us believe in Christ but sometimes we don't believe him.
We must believe him when he says that there is no other path, way, or life that leads to peace in this life and eternal life with our Eternal Father in the life to come other than this restored gospel.
I have felt that. Making and trying our best(D&C 46:9) to keep covenants with The Lord binds us to Heavenly power.
I love feeling the spirit, in spite of all the mistakes I make daily God blesses me with his spirit if I follow Jesus Christ and walk in the meekness of his Spirit.
I make an invitation to all who read this to help someone else feel the spirit by inviting them to learn more of him who loves, heals, strengthens, and restores.
